About the role: (Virtual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist)
Our team is expanding our virtual care team and are looking for virtual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists who are passionate about delivering care to young women.
As a Virtual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be an integral part of the care delivery system.
You will see patients virtually and be able to connect with Kiira members via phone, video, and chat on your own schedule.
We are a startup and a lot of our product development is a collaborative effort so we will be asking you for insights and feedback to help our development team.
You're a licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, with
Active and unrestricted licenses in the state of California
Deep clinical expertise in providing psychiatric and mental health services (at least 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience) including asking questions that will help clients identify their feelings and behaviors, counsel clients on concerns such as unsatisfactory relationships and interpersonal issues, encourage individuals to develop and use skills and strategies for confronting their problems in a constructive manner, develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing relationship problems, destructive patterns of behavior and other personal issues, confer with clients to develop plans for post-treatment activities, and refer clients to psychiatrist if necessary.
Formal professional training in the following areas is highly valued: care delivery for women who have experienced trauma including having a lived experience of abuse, decision making support for low-income women, care delivery for LGBTQ identified folks, care delivery for immigrant or migrant or English-as-a-second-language support populations.
